The Chinatown Mall in Duncan Street, Fortitude Valley was first opened in 1987.
In 2009, the Mall was redeveloped with a design produced collaboratively by Brisbane City Council, Urbis, and architects from Brisbane's sister city, Shenzhen, China.
The new suite of signs reflect Chinese cultural elements whilst also referencing the modern redevelopment.
