Based in Brisbane, this position is for a Senior Graphic designer, working with the Wayfinding Strategy team, Design Directors and mentoring and guiding younger graphic designers.
First and foremost, you must be graphic designer who loves to work in both publication and spatial design.
Ideally you will be looking for that next move in your career, having spent the past five years at least working in a comparable studio/team environment.
As a Graphic Environmental Designer you’ll get the opportunity to work on Wayfinding projects, specialising in typography, information design and mapping.
Your passion must be for graphic design applied to Style Guidelines and Manuals, Signage Systems, Wordmarks and Mapping.
You will work with our team on a range of projects from initial workshops with clients, research, concept, design and implementation.
Depending on the projects you will work in various sectors – Urban realm, Healthcare, Transport, Education, Interpretation and Major Events.
We work with the Mac Operating System and use Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop CC, CADTools in Illustrator, Acrobat Distiller, SketchUp, Revit and Bridge
Along with your publication design portfolio, you must be able to provide examples of visual communication in the built environment.
