IOC and LOCOG
Director of our Sydney studio, Suzy Grierson, is an acknowledged expert in Olympic wayfinding. She has delivered programs for both summer and winter Games, and has experience as a consultant to other organising committees and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
In March 2011, Suzy travelled to London for several days of workshops with the IOC and LOCOG. This was an opportunity to share the good and bad of past experiences with the team now facing the herculean task of planning and delivering wayfinding and signage for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Suzy made a series of presentations and joined planning workshops with representatives from LOCOG, Transport for London and the Olympic Delivery Authority.
