As a growing university, with five campuses in South East Queensland, Griffith University needed comprehensive Signage Guidelines to maintain a consistent identity and maintain effective public access.
Working with the university architects Cox Rayner, Dot Dash developed a family of sign types that contributed to a larger suite of urban elements and street furniture. The forms and colours of the signs are based on a strategic design approach
reflecting the University’s identity.
The Signage Guidelines Manual will be a key tool supporting the consistent selection, planning and procurement of signage as new buildings and campuses are developed in the future.
